LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT COURSES
” I Thought You Understood What I Said”
Communication and Listening-This course explores our preferred communicating and listening styles. Participants
learn when to use different styles through a series of interactive exercises, case studies, assessments, and
appreciative inquiry
“Working With You Is Killing Me”
Resolving Conflict-Participants will learn techniques that will resolve conflict in ways that preserve working relationships. Participants will learn through self-assessment and other interactive exercises, their preferred style of dealing with conflict, how to avoid negative styles of conflict resolution and how to turn conflict into collaboration that builds up instead of destroying relationships.
” What The Generations Really Want”
Generations-Participants explore a unique situation which has never occurred before in history. For the first time
ever, we have four generations in the workforce and in the church. This course helps participants to appreciate
what events, people, technology and values and beliefs influenced people of Leadership Principles-This course
explores leadership qualities, key leadership skills, how to lead and manage people effectively, solve problems,
decision making, delegating, conducting effective meetings, coaching, and mentoring others and dealing with
difficult personalities
“Are You Really On The Team?”
Teambuilding-This course covers the four stages of teambuilding and through several self-assessments and
interactive activities, participants will experience each stage of teambuilding and what it means to be a team-
player.
“Stop Sabotaging Your Success”
Emotional Intelligence-This course examines the four components of emotional intelligence: Self-Awareness, Self-
Regulation, Self-Motivation, Empathy, and Effective Relationships and how leaders who develop these qualities
can become effective leaders.
“So, You Think You Know Me”
Understanding People and Personalities-explores the physical, social-emotional, cognitive, and spiritual hurdles
every person must negotiate at different stages of life from pre-natal to seasoned citizens to reach their purpose. Using the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory, participants will gain insight into why they act the way they do and gain an appreciation for personality types that are different from theirs and tips for working with different personalities.
“Meetings That Don’t Put People To Sleep”
Conducting Engaging Meetings-This course explores what to do to have a successful meeting and why people hate
meetings. Participants will learn that good meetings don’t just happen they are planned. Participants will learn
how to plan an agenda, develop ground rules to keep the meeting on track, deal effectively with meeting
monsters, and how to engage meeting attendees.
“Soft On People Hard On Problems”
Problem Solving and Decision Making-This course teaches basic and advanced problem solving and decision-making techniques. Participants will learn about problem solving models and tools, how to involve
members in the problem-solving process, evaluating options, risk evaluation, making the decision and following up to see if the selected solution is achieving desired results
“What Do We Do To Achieve Mission Success?
Mission, Visioning and Strategic Planning-This flagship course helps corporate, federal, and non-profit leaders to evaluate how they are contributing to their mission and vision statements. One of the major outcomes of this course is for leaders to identify and eliminate activities that don't contribute to mission success. Participants will develop strategic goals, plan practical ways to achieve mission critical objectives for organizational success.
“What You Don’t Know About The Law Can Bite You In Your Asteroids”
Employment Law For Managers, Supervisors and Employees-This course covers the essential federal laws that govern workplace behavior and the prevention of workplace discrimination and harassment. Participants will learn about the Civil Rights Act 0f 1968, Age in Employment Act, Equal Pay Act, The Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and other federal statutes dealing with workplace discrimination and harassment. This course employs interactive activities to engage participants in identifying discriminatory and harassing behavior, what their rights are if they have been a victim of discrimination or harassment, and how to report that behavior.

New Managers and Supervisor Training-This highly interactive course covers transitioning from staff to supervisor, setting expectations, performance management, progressive discipline, providing performance feedback, time management, delegation, conducting effective meetings, motivating a productive workforce, accountability, problem solving and decision making, leadership and teambuilding and other tools and skills to help new managers and supervisors succeed.

Conquering Chaos at Work and in Your Personal Life-This fun and engaging course is designed to help people de-
clutter their lives by first identifying and getting rid of time-wasting activities, learn to how say “No” without guilt
to stop co-starring in other’s drama. Participants will develop smart goals and l leave with action plans that simplify
life, personally and professionally.
